During his address, Pratikno spoke highly of Indonesia's cooperation with China. He noted that Indonesia and other ASEAN countries take pride in China's achievements in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), and called on both sides to further advance cooperation on AI and jointly explore an AI development path tailored to regional characteristics.

Oki Earlivan Sampurno presented detailed statistics to illustrate the urgent demand for vocational education driven by Indonesia's industrial development. Ahyar Muhammad Diah, Chairman of the Forum of Directors of State Polytechnics in Indonesia (FDPNI), delivered the annual work report on behalf of the Alliance, fully showcasing the outcomes of cooperation between Chinese and Indonesian vocational institutions and enterprises, which drew close attention from attending leaders of both countries. Ojat Darojat, Deputy Minister of the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs and Chairman of Indonesia's National Vocational Education Leading Group, announced the list of the first batch of Outstanding Partners for China-Indonesian Vocational Education Program. Five partnerships of Chinese and Indonesian colleges and enterprises, including Liuzhou Polytechnic University (LZPU), LiuGong Machinery Indonesia, and Politeknik Negeri Jakarta, PoliteknikNegeri Sriwijaya, were selected. They have been officially recognized by Indonesia as role models for industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation between the two countries.

The Alliance facilitated the signing of partnerships between another 18 pairs of Chinese and Indonesian institutions. As the first cross-border scientific research platform in the field of vocational education, its inauguration marks a significant milestone. Chinese and Indonesian institutions will set up interdisciplinary transnational research teams to conduct applied technological research, explore pathways for Chinese vocational institutions to expand their research presence overseas, and jointly empower the development of Chinese-funded enterprises and local industries in Indonesia..

It is noted that since its establishment in September 2023, the China-Indonesia TVET Industry-Education Alliance has facilitated the signing of partnerships between a total of 45 pairs of Chinese and Indonesian institutions. It has launched the Indonesia-China Vocational Education Enhancement Program (ICVEEP) and organized regular events such as monthly vocational education lectures.
